Celebrating all things feminine, the annual Women's Wellness Day is designed by women for women to encompass information and education on health, fitness, beauty, sexuality, fashion and food.
Women's Wellness Day is dedicated to women of all ages and is set for March 3 at the South Tahoe Middle School.
The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with early registration when ladies pick up gift bags loaded with treats from local businesses and enjoy a continental breakfast. Complimentary health screenings will be offered, including body composition analysis, blood pressure checks, spine analysis, age-defying hand treatment, skin cancer screenings, self defense moves, posture analysis and chiropractic checks.

Sixteen one-hour lectures include topics from hormones to "The Chemistry of Attraction" to beauty color analysis all beginning at 8:30 a.m. Comfortable attire is encouraged.
A healthy hot lunch buffet, co-sponsored by Stacy Romagnolo, owner of Bella Cucina Catering, is included at noon. While the ladies are enjoying lunch, they will be entertained with a fashion show featuring locally famous "Women of Style & Substance." The models include Dr. Virginia Boyar, Gail Powell-Acosta, Kathleen Farrell, Terri Haven, Diane Imbach, Kris Keesling, Kathay Lovell, Alissa Nourse, Julie Regan, Norma Santiago, Delicia Spees, Peggy Thompson and Mary Bittner. Terri Q. Sayre will be the show's emcee.
Cost is $30 before Friday and $35 after or at the door.
