CVRCC thanks you
EDITOR:
Carson Valley Residential Care Center is an assisted living community located in the Gardnerville Ranchos. We are licensed for 92 seniors and many have no family or loved ones in the area. It can feel quite isolated and lonesome, thank heavens for kind strangers who come and befriend our residents.
At CVRCC we appreciate the volunteers from our community who have a heartfelt desire to dedicate precious time out of their day.
Carson Valley Residential Care Center wishes to acknowledge and thank the following people for their generosity to our seniors during this past Christmas season:
Dan and Claudia Holler, Jean Tomlinson, Gloria Darrington, The Red Hat Ladies, all of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of Carson Valley who came, visited and sang carols to the residents, Douglas County Public Library employees and volunteers, Pastor Pete Nelson and the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, our wonderful veterans, Sharon Goodwin and Nan Hart, Alora Knight, St. Gall Catholic Church, Lee Stevenson, Tom Cheney, Pinenut Christian School, Crossroads Nazarene Church, Tommy Lake, The Adopt an Elder Project, First Baptist Church, LDS Women's Group, Kathy Johnson and all of the GE Volunteers who donated individual gifts to every one of our residents by participating in their annual Rocking Chair program.
Your unselfish dedication seems worthy of more than a simple thank you. We are so very grateful to all of you.
If you are interested in volunteering at CVRCC, please contact us at 265-1400.
