The Coleville Lady Wolves basketball team took over first place in the Western 1A League with two weekend victories.
Coleville opened the weekend with a Friday night 55-30 victory over the visiting Gerlach Lions.
Four players scored in double figures for the Wolves, led by Amara Rowley with 13 points.
Rowley also led the Lady Wolves in steals with 10 and added eight rebounds and four assists.
Kim Torley added 11 points and led Coleville in a dominating rebounding performance with 16 boards.
Kassie Pemberton and Kayla Johnson each scored 10 points. Pemberton also had five assists, four steals and nine rebounds in her best game of the season.
Skyler Isbell came off the bench to score four points and grab 11 rebounds.
Saturday, the Lady Wolves traveled to Pyramid Lake and dominated from start to finish with a 52-19 win.
Torley led the way with 14 points and eight rebounds.
Rowley had 12 points, six rebounds and six steals and freshman center Molly Garcia played well with 11 points and five rebounds.
Pemberton had six points, four assists and six steals and Brittany Rupp and Jessica Parkhurst each had two points.
"I am very happy to see the balance in our offense," Coleville coach Will Sandy said. "If we can continue to get at least three girls scoring in double figures, we will be much tougher to beat.
"The girls are working very hard on defense and we are doing an outstanding job on the boards."
Coleville is now 9-6 overall and 3-0 in league play. Coleville hosts league rival Smith Valley Friday night in a critical league game beginning at 6 p.m.
