A reunion for 1987 graduates of Douglas High School is in the works, with the date to be set sometime in August.
The event will take place over an entire weekend, according to Michelle (Molina) Zadell, a graduate who now lives in Vancouver, Wash., and is helping organize the reunion.
"It's going to be a 20th reunion extravaganza," said Zadell.
The reunion will include a family picnic with fire trucks arriving and activities, plus dinner and dancing with a D.J. The date will be set as soon as the restaurant and disc jockey are coordinated.
"The wheels are just starting to turn now," said Zadell. "People can be a part of the planning process if they would like to do so."
The reunion committee would like to get the word out about the reunion, so people can contact them as soon as possible to get on the guest list.
"We have a lot of people whose parents are still in town," said Zadell. "We don't want anyone to be left out."
