Pilot Spike Duncan of Dayton is a member of the Experimental Aircraft Assocation's Sierra Chapter and was giving rides to young people in his Velocity XLRG at the Wings of Change Air Show on June 24.
Duncan built the aircraft himself from a kit.
The association sponsors the Young Eagles program which encourages young people to learn to fly.
