Artwork, furniture, collectibles and appraisal clinics will be found at the Genoa Antique Show and Sale on Saturday and Sunday at the Genoa Town Hall.
Victorian-era collectibles, furniture, lamps, clocks, linens, yard art, shabby chic collectibles, country pine, mid-century glass, china and decorator items will be on sale by a number of dealers from Nevada and California.
Appraisers with a combined experience of 50 years will be on hand to give appraisals for $5 per item, with no limit to the number of items. Photographs of larger furniture may be used for appraisals.
Genoa/Carson Valley books written by Nancy Miluck and donated by Mary Grace Miluck will be available while they last.
The Genoa Antique Show and Sale is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $1.50 and parking is free. Proceeds benefit the Carson Valley Pops Orchestra whose members will be serving food at the event. Also expect to be serenaded by Cecilia and Danny Yale and Georgette Twain.
