The Gardnerville Ranchos Fire/Rescue Dinner & Dance begins at 4 p.m. Saturday with food and continues with dancing until midnight.

The annual fundraiser allows the purchase of special equipment for members of the East Fork Fire & Paramedic Districts Station No. 7 and to support the East Fork burn fund that awards grants to Douglas County burn victims.

The barbecue dinner of pulled pork, chicken, sausage, chorizo, corn on the cob, beans, salads and dessert is served 4 to 8 p.m. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be available.

Music by Acoustic Solution begins at 5 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the event for raffle items with the grand prize of a barbecue.

Dinner tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 10 and younger. Tickets are available at the door, from any Ranchos volunteer, by calling Bob Spellberg at 690-7519 or the Ranchos district office at 265-2048.

The Ranchos Fire/Rescue Dinner & Dance is at East Fork Station No. 7, 940 Mitch Drive.
