Deputies were asked to check on a residence in the 1200 block of Redwood Circle after neighbors complained the tenants were running drugs and prostitution from the home.

The landlord said he was told that men were coming and going from the residence at all hours and "sex sounds" were coming from the back yard.

Deputies walked by the residence at 8 p.m. on July 5 and were greeted by a man with his pants partially undone who invited them in.

The tenant, a 48-year-old woman, was in the living room and appeared to be under the influence. Deputies said her eyes were bloodshot and her speech slurred.

According to the report, she was wearing a see-through blouse without pants or underpants.

When told deputies were checking on complaints of loud parties, she said, "That is ridiculous," according to the report.

Deputies said the living room was in disarray with empty beer cans, piles of clothing, trash, overflowing ashtrays and bedding scattered throughout.

Two half-dressed people were sitting on one of the couches, according to the report.

The tenant asked the deputies to leave and they told her to keep the noise down.

-- A 36-year-old Gardnerville Ranchos man was cited July 7 for defrauding an innkeeper after he failed to pay a cabdriver $150 for a trip from Reno to the Tillman 7-Eleven.

The man, who reportedly fled from the 49-year-old cabdriver, was caught by two passers-by alerted by the victim yelling "robber."

They also called the sheriff's office to report a robbery in progress.

The suspect claimed the cabdriver said he could have a discount fare.

According to the cabdriver, the suspect said his wife would pay him when they got to the convenience store, but the man ran away.

Deputies told the suspect he owed the full fare.
