Eleanor B. Cryderman
1917-2007
A private family service will take place at a later date for Eleanor B. Cryderman, 89, who died July 4, 2007, in Carson City.
Mrs. Cryderman was born Aug. 1, 1917, in Butte, Mont., to Joseph Brackett and Maude Blake. She was a high school graduate.
She married Charles M. Cryderman and was a homemaker. A former resident of South Lake Tahoe, she has lived in Carson City for 18 years.
She is survived by her husband of Carson City; sons James of Carson City, Charles of Gardnerville, Robert of Reno; daughter Carolyn Furin of Reno as well as eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City.
Edward C. Hoppe
1921-2007
Edward C. Hoppe, 85, a Minden resident for 28 years, died July 6, 2007, at home.
He was born Sept. 13, 1921, in Hamtramiud, Mich., to Joseph Hoppe and Sophia Shepanski.
Prior to moving to Minden, Mr. Hoppe lived in Pleasant Hill, Calif.
He was a high school graduate. He served in the U.S. Marines. He was a Pearl Harbor veteran and received a Purple Heart for his service.
He was a member of Coventry Cross Episcopal Church.
He was Citizen of the Year 1990-91, Carson Valley Sertoma Service to Mankind award winner in 1991.
Mr. Hoppe was preceded in death by son Bruce Hoppe; sisters Eleanore and Gertrude.
Among his survivors are his wife, Enola "Jay" Hoppe, of Minden; sons, Scott Hoppe of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Jeffry Hoppe of Virginia City; brother Joseph Hoppe of Texas; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Memorial contributions can be made to Coventry Cross Episcopal Church, to the Coventry Cross Building Fund or to a favorite charity.

Dorothy E. Little
1922-2007
Graveside services for Dorothy E. Little, 85, a 35-year Gardnerville resident will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
Mrs. Little died July 12, 2007, in Gardnerville. She was born May 16, 1922, to Hans Prager and Alice Markstein in Innsbruck, Austria. She married Edward L. Little on July 10, 1945, in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Prior to moving to Gardnerville, Mrs. Little lived in Big Pine, Calif. She was educated in public schools in Vienna and Salzburg. She trained as a dancer at Viennese State Opera.
She was recognized as an accomplished pianist. She was a mother and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband in June 1996 in Reno.
Among her survivors are sons, Edward R. Little of Reno, Ronald J. Little of Pollock Pines, Calif.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Judith 'Judy'
Kay Pearson
1946-2007
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date for Judith "Judy" Kay Pearson, 61, who died July 13, 2007, at her Topaz Lake home.
Mrs. Pearson was born Feb. 16, 1946, in Adrian, Mich., to Wesley Edison and Lola Shirley Olson Goff.
The family moved from Morenci, Mich., to California six years later where she attended school and graduated from El Dorado High School, Placerville, Calif., in 1963.
She married Larry Kleinworth in 1965 and had two sons, Kenny and Kevin.
In 1971 they divorced. She married Milton "Butch" Pearson Feb. 16, 1974 at their Apple Hill home in Camino, Calif.
She was an artist whether it was painting, ceramics, sewing or decorating her home. She worked in the Pollock Pines School District transportation department for more than 20 years before retiring to Topaz Lake with her husband in 1999. She loved to sit out on her deck overlooking Topaz Lake, she loved the outdoors, traveling, fishing, four-wheeling and boating but, most of all, she loved being with her family and her many friends.
Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her stepfather Robert Suerstedt, stepfather Wayne Tool and her stepson Sidney Ray Pearson Sr. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Milton Pearson of Topaz Lake; her sons and daughter-in-law Kenneth Kleinworth of Sheldon, Wash., Kevin and Gina Kleinworth of Dayton; her daughter and son-in-law Kim and Robert Little of Pollock Pines, Calif.; stepson Jeffery Pearson and stepdaughter Lynn Andrews, her mother Lola Tool of Topaz, Calif.; her sister and friend, Jonni Hill and Rob Strauser of Topaz Ranch Estates; stepsister Susan McKenzie of Olympia, Wash.; 13 grandchildren and many more extended family members.
Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory in Carson City. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Judy Pearson's name to Topaz Lake Volunteer Fire Department, 1990 Comstock Drive, (Topaz Lake) Gardnerville, NV 89410.
Robert Gale Perry
1925-2007
No services have been planned for Robert Gale Perry, 82, who died July 9, 2007 at his home in Minden.
Mr. Perry was born May 7, 1925, in Carbondale, Kan., to Robert and Martha Dodson Perry.
He was a World War II Army veteran and worked as a carpenter after the war.
He married Georgianna McKinzey Perry on Sept. 25, 1987.
He enjoyed being an amateur prospector.
He was a resident of Minden for 39 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lola Mae Popejoy.
He is survived by his wife Georgianna of Minden; his son Terry Perry of Tucson, Ariz.; daughters and sons-in-law Gale and Turk Carr of Tucson, Ariz., Jackie and Jeff Gorton of Gardnerville; Shannon and Robert Geraldo of Minden; sister and brother-in-law Beverly and Jack Denney of St. Petersburg, Fla., as well as six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are in the care of Capital City Cremations and Burial Society in Carson City.
Daniel Greco Testa
1931-2007
A musical tribute and celebration of life for Daniel Greco Testa, 76, of Mound House will be 1 p.m. July 29 in Carson City.
Mr. Testa died July 8, 2007, in Mound House.
Mr. Testa was born April 21, 1931, in Newark, N.J., to Daniel Testa Sr. and Mary Crecca.
Before moving to Mound House, he was a resident of Newark.
He was a musician.
He was a Merchant Marine and a paratrooper.
Among his survivors are sons Chris and Tim Testa both of Linden, Pa.; fiancee, Daphne Hansell; and brother-in-law Dale Johnson.
Burial will be 1 p.m. July 30 at the Bridgeport Cemetery, in Bridgeport, Calif. Call 721-8323 for more details on the tribute.

Robert Allen Woods
1942-2007
Six-year Minden resident Robert Allen Woods, 65, died July 11, 2007, at his home.
Born June 22, 1942, in Clare Mont, N.H., he served as a medic in the U.S. Air Force from 1959 to 1963.
He married Diane P. Woods on Dec. 15, 1973, and lived in Palmdale, Calif., prior to moving to Minden.
Mr. Woods was chief executive officer of G.Y. and N. Nutriment Pharmacology.
He was a doctor of hypnotherapy and naturopathic medicine.
He was a Catholic and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the snowmobile association.
He is survived by his wife, Diane of Minden; sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Teresa, David Allen and Sandra, all of Lancaster; grandson Garret Allen of Lancaster; sister Bonnie Jean LeBlanc; niece Christine Ghaney; and nephew Phillip Howard.
Cremation took place at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.
