Firefighters battling multiple lightning fires

A 10-acre fire is burning in the brush behind Coleville where structures are threatened and controls are in effect on Highway 396.

The Larson fire is being fought by two hand crews, two helicopters, three engines and an air tanker. The fire was reported at 3:23 p.m.

Fires were also reported on Kingsbury Grade and along Leviathan Mine Road above Highway 395 in the Pine Nuts.

The Leviathan fire is estimated at a half acre and can't be seen from the highway, according to firefighters.
