La Dolce Vita is hosting Scrap For a Cure 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 23. This is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and proceeds will be donated at the Relay for Life of Douglas County Aug 4-5.
This day of scrapbooking is dedicated to Cindy McIntosh, who recently lost her 2-year battle with cancer. Friends say she was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Sign up now as spaces are limited. The fee is $25 and includes lunch. Donations are also accepted for the American Cancer Society at La Dolce Vita or mail to 1561 Highway 395, Minden, NV 89423. Business sponsorships are also welcome.
