Heard Johnny Walter of the Bar BQ Boys finally got his trip to the Mayo Clinic. His brother flew from his home in Arizona, rented a Jeep, picked up Walter, drove him to the clinic, which happens to be in Arizona, and drove him all the way back home. Walter has been suffering from detached retinas and is legally blind. Because of his condition he can't fly in an airplane. He is also the bass player for the Bar BQ Boys. He said the doctor who saw him, wants him to come back in a couple months. Walter enjoyed his trip and even got to go swimming at their hotel on the way down.
"Is that a great brother, or what?" asked Walter, who had to hurry back for the band's Friday performance at the Coyote Sports Bar & Grill.
