Carson Valley's 18th annual Kids Fishing Derby drew more than 2,100 children last weekend.
The biggest fish of the weekend was caught early on as 7-year-old Mackenzie Brixey pulled in an 8-pound fish during session one.
Fannie Agner, 7, had the biggest fish of session two at 4 pounds, 12 ounces and Freddy Mueller won session three with a 2-pound, 14-ounce pull.
Heather Evans and Jesse Hook took the honors in session four and 5-year-old Sierra Garr had the biggest fish for session five at 4 pounds, 7 ounces.
Three-year-old Jacob Gavin caught a 6-pound, 1-ounce fish in session six and Jasmine Bivens, 9, had a catch of 5 pounds, 14 ounces in session seven.
About 280 volunteers turned out for the weekend.
