Matthew Lee Brochers

1967-2007

A visitation took place June 8 at Walton's Chapel of the Valley for Matthew Lee Brochers, 39, who died at Stateline June 2, 2007.

Mr. Brochers was born July 1, 1967, in Lodi, Calif., to Charles and Joanne Brochers. He was a high school graduate and was a cement mason with the laborers' union. He was married to Susan Atnip-Brochers. He enjoyed his children, playing drums, throwing a football and dirt biking.

He is survived by his wife Susan Atnip-Brochers of Stateline; his 18-year-old daughter Ashley and her husband Todd of Stateline; sons Matthew Brochers, 14, and Luke Brochers, 8; his mother Joanne Borchers; mother-in-law and husband Carollann and Marty Strickland; sister Lori; brothers Pat and Ray as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Arrangements are in the care of Walton's Douglas County Mortuary in Minden with cremation to take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City.
