Margaret Christine Busatto
1918-2007
A 10:30 a.m. rosary followed by a Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Carson City for Margaret Christine Busatto, 89, who died June 10, 2007, in Carson City.
Mrs. Busatto was born June 8, 1918, in Meadville, Pa., to Dominick Cervone and Berenice Luongo. She was a high school graduate with two years at commercial college. She worked as a secretary. She was a staff sergeant in the Women's Army Air Corps during World War II assigned to the photography unit. She married Henry Busatto May 11, 1946, in Meadville, Pa. She belonged to the Society of Mary, Catholic Daughters of America, was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, past member of St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville. She enjoyed being a seamstress, doing needle work. She was an excellent cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, three sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Barbara and Bill Brownlee of Carson City; Jan and Steve O'Brien of Gardnerville; Anita and Roger Palmer of Dallas; brothers and sisters-in-law James and Darlene Cervone, John Cervone and Jerry Cervone, all of Meadville, Pa; as well as three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City.
A viewing will take place 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
Interment will take place at Lone Mountain Cemetery following the mass on Monday. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Teresa Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
Stewart 'Bruce'
MacClements
1948-2007
A celebration of life will be 3:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sharkey's banquet room for Stewart "Bruce" MacClements, 59, who died June 12, 2007, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City.
Mr. MacClements was born March 13, 1948, in Worchester, Mass., to Stewart "Tom" MacClements and Ina Pellerin MacClements.
Mr. MacClements was a resident of Hampton, N.H., and Alturas, Calif., before moving to Gardnerville 1 1/2 years ago. He had a degree in electronics engineering and was employed by Sharkey's Casino as a slot technician. He married Debbie (Frink) MacClements in Alturas and had been married for 16 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Lakeview, Ore., and Alturas, a member of the Order of Antelope. He loved the outdoors and his family.
He was preceded in death by his father who died Nov. 15, 1998.
He is survived by his wife Debbie MacClements of Gardnerville; his mother Ina MacClements of Keystone Heights, Fla.; sons Matthew Wilkie of Gardnerville and Jason Wilkie of Carson City; brother Bob MacClements of Fish Kill, N.Y.; sister Karen Buck of Kenya, Africa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. Cremation to take place at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.
