Candy Dance apprentices sought

The Genoa Candy Dance Planning Committee is seeking a volunteer candy-making apprentice for the months of August and September in preparation for the 87th Annual Candy Dance Arts and Crafts Faire.

"We are looking for someone who wants to become part of a historic volunteer tradition in Genoa," said Sheryl Gonzales, 2007 Candy Dance Arts and Crafts Faire chair. "The ideal person would be someone with leadership experience who enjoys working with people and has an interest in making candy and confections. The apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced candy-making leaders."

In addition, candy-making volunteers are being recruited at this time. Volunteers can sign up to work one or several shifts as their schedule allows.
