ValleyVibrations

I am sad to announce to all my friends - musical or otherwise - that I will be leaving Carson Valley in a couple of weeks. I will do my best to make sure this column will keep going - the increasing size of Valley Vibrations shows we really need it here!

I plan on writing an exit column next week sometime, but I especially wanted to let you, the creative people, know how much I've appreciated your input, encouragement (both in my own music and in this column), and your thanks each and every week since I started this.

I will soon be on the road to Coos Bay, Ore., and hope to somehow find it a place that inspires me to pay attention to the music scene and hopefully have more time to practice my bass.

Until next week, keep on playin!'

Remember, to keep this going, I have to hear from you. Just a little e-mail (jrafferty@recordcourier.com) or a phone call (782-5121, ext. 210) or even a fax (782-6152) is all I need to put your musical entertainment information in this column at no charge to you. If you send it, I'll even try to get a photo in to go with it. Details are needed by noon on Wednesday.

So, with a "One, two - one, two, three, four":
