Sierra Place Retirement and Assisted Living Community announced that effective immediately, it will offer free accommodations to senior citizens from South Lake Tahoe affected and/or displaced by the Angora Fire. Free accommodations will be available for a period of up to one week.

Senior Citizens of the South Lake Tahoe area in need of supportive care including housing in a smoke-free environment, meals, and/or assistance with medications, dressing, and bathing are eligible for the free accommodations.

We will be able to provide apartments, bedding, meals, and other necessities for those who had to leave their homes with minimal personal belongings," said Mr. Klick.
