Carson Valley boutiques are donating clothing for South Lake Tahoe residents left homeless by the Angora fire.
Kristen McFall of Belle's Boutique in Minden said she has contacted several Valley clothiers.
"I'm packing up several boxes of clothes to donate," she said.
McFall said she has commitments from Watermelon Patch and Especially For You, Fresh Ideas, and Country Carousel to provide clothing.
"I thought it would be nice for them to have some new clothes," she said. "We're just trying to figure out what we can do to help, too."
McFall said she planned on taking the donations to Lake Tahoe on Thursday.
Carson Valley Christian Center is accepting donations for victims of the Angora Fire in South Lake Tahoe.
Donations may be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily at the church, 1095 Stephanie Way, one half-mile east of Highway 395, in the Johnson Lane area.
Suggested donations include trail mix and pocket-sized snacks particularly for firefighters, children's Tylenol, disposable gloves, blankets, pillows, clothing, deodorant and bottled water.
The church will accept items in the CVC lobby all week and in the Growth Center during weekend services.
Items will be delivered mornings and evenings daily to the Tahoe locations of greatest need.

The Record-Courier is collecting donations, including gift cards, blankets, pillows, socks, jackets, all types of toiletries, toys, disposable cameras and other items.
The R-C is also collecting for the Northern Nevada Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department is collecting donations at its offices on Waterloo across from Lampe Park.
In response to the Angora Fire affecting South Lake Tahoe residents, Wells Fargo announced a $60,000 donation to support the efforts of two local aid organizations: Sacramento Sierra Chapter of the American Red Cross and Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care, Inc.
