Playing in its first tournament of the season, the Carson Valley Hot Shots U10 softball team took second place at the Carson Valley Classic earlier in the month.
The Hot Shots beat Walker River and the Reno Rebels along the way.
In the team's second tournament, the Hot Shots played the Carson Sharks, the Sun Valley Eclipse and the Lassen All-stars.
Carson Valley was able to beat Sun Valley and later pushed the Reno Rebels.
The Hot Shots will play in Reno this weekend.
