Pita Pit is scheduled to open at 935 Topsy Lane in the Carson Valley Plaza in May.
There has been a Pita Pit franchise in Reno since 2005 and the company plans to open a second new store in Sparks.
Pita Pit is a quick service restaurant offering allowing customers to "build a pita" with choices of grilled meat, fresh vegetables and a variety of sauces.
Pita Pits were founded in Ontario, Canada, in 1995.
