First Dangberg tours are Sunday

The first two public tours of the Dangberg Historic Home Ranch are Sunday.

Conducted by the Nevada Division of State Parks, reservations are required to tour the property located along Highway 88 south of Minden.

Work on restoring the ranch and the cataloging its contents have been under way for two years.

Work on the ranch's roofs and grounds has improved the appearance of the ranch, which was unoccupied for 10 years during legal wrangling over its future.

Tours of the ranch are conducted on Sundays and Wednesdays.
