Food for Fines offered at library through April 21

The Douglas County Public Library is presenting Food for Fines Monday through April 21.

For each can or box of non-perishable food donated, you may choose to waive an overdue fine or select a free book from the library's sale rack. All proceeds will go to the Carson Valley Community Food Closet.

The Douglas County Public Library is located at 1625 Library Lane in Minden and 233 Warrior Way in Zephyr Cove. For more information call the library at 782-9841.
