BASEBALL


Bryan Miller, jr., OF, Troy University: Went 1-for-1 in a 15-2 win over Jacksonville State.


Cal Lewis, sr., 3B, South Dakota State: Went 1-for-1 with a run scored, 1-for-4 and 1-for-3 with two runs scored in one win and two losses to Missouri State over the weekend.


Chris Honer, soph., P, Point Loma: Honer is currently 1-1 with a 3.19 ERA in nine appearances this season. He has 11 strikeouts and has issued only two walks in 17 innings pitched.


Shane Cauley, jr., OF, Chico State: Chico is 27-5 on the season and swept a four-game series from Cal Poly Pomona over the weekend.


D.J. Brady, fr., OF, Mesa College: Mesa is 19-17 overall and 6-12 in conference play.


Chad Walling, soph., INF, Western Nevada: Western Nevada took three of four from Eastern Utah over the weekend. He is 6-for-6 on stolen base attempts this year.




SOFTBALL


Kristy Olsen, jr., 3B/OF, Iowa State: The Cyclones beat Western Illinois twice and lost to Texas A&M twice. Olsen has stolen 16 bases in 17 attempts.


Brittany Puzey, soph., OF, Nevada: The Wolf Pack dropped a two-game series to Fresno State over the weekend. Puzey is batting .292 on the year with four home runs, 22 RBIs and five stolen bases.


Valerie Smith, soph., C, Columbia: Columbia lost a four-game series to Penn. Smith is batting .300 through 23 games with 10 RBIs and nine runs scored. She has two doubles and a triple on the year.




TRACK & FIELD


Daniel Sipko, jr. , Eastern Oregon: Did not compete last week.


Ryan Bertucci, fr. , Chico State: Bertucci cleared 6 feet, 4.75 inches to take fifth at the Sacramento State Hornet Invitational over the weekend.
