There are no less than seven rummage, craft and even a garage and manure sale going on in Carson Valley this weekend. The following is the run down:


-- The Carson Valley United Methodist Church annual rummage sale will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. For information call 782-4600.

-- The Topaz Sagehens 31st annual rummage sale will be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Topaz Ranch Estates Community Park Building at the end of Carter Way. Proceeds from this event help fund community charities and civic organizations including Douglas High School Scholarship Fund. Information, Janice Roberts, 266-1076.


-- The Topaz Community Open Bible Church will be having their annual rummage sale to raise money for the church building fund on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot next to the Topaz Ranch Estates Community Park building where their future church will be built. -- The Mu Masters chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will host a rummage sale 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 992 Tillman Lane. Proceeds will benefit local charities. Information, 265-1638.


-- Spring craft sale to benefit Carson Valley Community Food Closet, 9 a.m. Ð 2 p.m. Saturday at 1255 Waterloo Lane, west of Lampe Park. Information, 782-3711.

-- There will be an open house at the Walker Senior Center Thrift Store in Walker, Calif., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Meet the staff and browse the great bargains available. Light refreshments will be served. Information 530-495-1200.


-- The Carson Valley Lions Club will have its 17th annual Great Garage and Manure Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. It will be located between U.S. Bank and Christensen Automotive on Highway 395 in Gardnerville. Lots of items, bagged fertilizer and soil amendments for lawn and garden, will be for sale.
