I have been getting more and more nice comments about this column, that I really appreciate. A few months ago I began this basically just because I saw a need for publicizing events that are taking place around town and felt that there were way more local bands out there than anyone really knew about. I found out I was right and running this column has been both eye-opening and refreshing.

Quote of the week by Tony Sanders: "Music is the language of the universe."

Until next week, keep on playin!'

Remember, to keep this going, I have to hear from you. Just a little e-mail (jrafferty@recordcourier.com) or a phone call (782-5121, ext. 210) or even a fax (782-6152) is all I need to put your musical entertainment information in this column at no charge to you. If you send it, I'll even try to get a photo in to go with it. Details are needed by noon on Wednesday.
