Nurses publish recipes for a good cause

In celebration of National Nurses Week in May, Carson Valley Medical Center nurses have compiled a cookbook of favorite recipes of hospital employees. Proceeds from sales of the cookbook will be donated to Austin's House, the Family Support Council of Douglas County, and Douglas County Mental Health.

With 89 delicious recipes, this is sure to be a big seller for Mother's Day gifts. The CVMC Cookbook can be purchased for just $10 (cash only), while supplies last. Purchase your cookbook at the CVMC Bistro & Boutique located inside Carson Valley Medical Center at 1107 Highway 395 at the south end of Gardnerville.
