Physicians recommend that all women over 40 - or those who are at high risk for breast cancer - have a mammogram annually. Unfortunately many women are not able to afford or to access this vital exam.
The Nevada Health Center's Mammovan will be at Carson Valley Medical Center 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to provide mammograms to uninsured or under-insured women in the community. Call (877) 581-6266 for more information or to make an appointment.
