The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help locate Wiltrude Moritz.
Moritz, a 71-year-old Gardnerville resident, suffers from dementia and has gone missing.
She was last seen at her home in the Gardnerville Ranchos on May 12 around noon.
Moritz is a white female adult with white hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a white V-neck shirt, black pants and powder blue Keds shoes.
Moritz is driving a faded silver 1991 Mazda 929 four-door sedan bearing Nevada license plate 874TYN.
The family is monitoring her financial transactions and noted a recent purchase that occurred early this morning at the Petro Shopping Center in Sparks.
Moritz reportedly requires daily medication for other health issues. Her family is concerned for her welfare and the sheriff's office would appreciate any help in ensuring her safe return home.
