Deputies are responding to what is reported to be a four-vehicle accident on Highway 395 and Cradlebaugh Bridge this morning. The call came in at about 7:22 a.m. I'll update the Web when I get more information.

A 46-year-old Gardnerville man arrested for trafficking in methamphetamine is expected to plead guilty in district court this morning.

Scott Fonger waived a preliminary hearing in April in East Fork Justice Court.

He is scheduled to be arraigned before Judge Dave Gamble in Minden.

Fonger was arrested along with four others in a March 28 drug sting.

Centerville Lane will be closed for a cattle drive early this morning. Hopefully the cows will be done commuting by the time the commuters need to get through.

In other traffic news, night work on Highway 395 may wrap up by the end of the week.

Today's weather will be mostly sunny with a high temperature hitting 70 degrees. The mercury will be climbing through the rest of the week and should hit 80 by the weekend with no precipitation in sight.
