Carson Valley rancher Arnold Settelmeyer was found dead on Tuesday.
Family members confirmed his death today.
Settelmeyer, 67, was a third-generation Nevadan and was the son of Arthur Settelmeyer.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, son Assemblyman James and daughter Annalynn and their children.
