For the second time in three years, Douglas baseball coach John Glover was honored as the Sierra League's top coach.
Glover shared the honor this year with Damonte Ranch's Jon Poulson.
He coached the Tigers to their second league title in three years and improved his career record to 118-57. Douglas has been a stellar 36-9 at home in the last three years and has advanced the regional semifinals in each of the last three season.
This year, the Tigers finished as the Northern 4A Regional runners-up, losing in the regional championship game to Galena.
