This Saturday will again be Student Day at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center. This education day for all students is the first Saturday of each month. All students are admitted free and the required adult who accompanies them is also free. Costumed guides will conduct tours at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.
Information on methods for obtaining oral histories will be available during the day. There are many exhibits on different aspects of life and events of Carson Valley. Did you know the inventor of the Ferris wheel came from Carson Valley and got the idea from something he observed here as a child?
