The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident that occurred at 7:54 a.m. this morning.
Trooper Scott Simon said the name of the victim would be released as soon as the next of kin have been notified.
According to the Highway Patrol, the victim pulled out from Muller Lane into the path of another vehicle.
A small sport utility vehicle was making a left turn onto Highway 395 and was t-boned by a large pickup truck.
The driver of the truck was taken to Carson-Tahoe Hospital. The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
