Volleyball: Lady Wolves go 4-0 on the week

The Coleville volleyball team topped previously unbeaten Virginia City last week in three sets.


Skyler Isbell had 10 kills, two blocks and two aces and Kymberlee Curti had 10 kills, three aces, one block and one dig to lead the Wolves.


Kassie Pemberton and Amara Rowley each had 14 assists.


Pemberton put up four kills, three aces and a block and Rowley had six kills and two aces.


Kim Torley added two kills and an ace.


Kristie Parker had two digs and a kill from the back row and Tawny Booher had two digs.


On Friday, Coleville beat Pyramid Lake in a double header as Rowley led off the first game serving 22 points in a row.


She also had nine aces, 13 assists and one kill. Curti had eight kills, two aces and one block. Molly Garcia put up four blocks and three kills. Isbell had four kills, one block and an ac.


Pemberton had six assists, two kills and one ace.


Rowley again led the team in the second match with 14 aces, six assists and two kills.


Pemberton had five aces and five assists. Curti had five kills and Sarah Holden had four aces and Torley had two kills.


Coleville picked up three straight games against Smith Valley Saturday to spoil to Bulldogs' homecoming.


Curti finished with eight kills, five aces, two blocks and one assist.


Isbell had four kills, four aces and one block. Torley had five kills, two aces and an assist, Booher had seven aces and Rowley had four aces, two kills and 13 assists.


Pemberton had two kills and six assists and Garcia had two kills and a block.


Coleville imroved to 8-0 in league play on the season.
