Sierra Lutheran High School performed well at its first showing at Stanford Invitational, one of the West Coast's more prestigious cross country events.
The Falcon boys' cross country team finished eighth out of 16 schools and was led by strong performances from Taylor Love and Michael Kubel.
Love finished seventh out of the 126 runners on the 3.1 mile course in 17:02 with Kubel not far behind finishing 14th in 17:41.
All of the Sierra Lutheran High School runners posted personal bests as well with Andrew Deterding finishing in 19:24, Levi Grabow in 19:43, Ryan Jackson in 20:52 and Ben Martin in 23:51.
