Amateur photographer Kathy Port of Gardnerville Ranchos won Carson Valley Photo Club's top honors for October with a shot of an old car in Bodie, Calif., titled "Fixer Upper."
Pam Brekas' "This Old Car" photo taken at the Smith Valley Car Show earlier this month was the second-place winner.
The third-place photo,"Waving Hands," taken by Pat Colon in Bodie depicts two sets of gloves fit on the legs of an old metal machine part.
