The Douglas Tiger Pee Wee Football team pitched another shutout on Friday evening against the Sparks Wolfpack, prevailing 26-0 at Stodick Park.
Tiger defenders completely thwarted the Wolfpack running game and allowed only two first downs via the pass. Defensive end Taylor Souza had a fumble recovery, and Andrew Bigam, Cody Tindel and Matt Jones had big games shutting down Wolfpack runners with big hits.
Defenders Kyle Adams, Reid Winans, Seth Trivitt, Brennan Neillon, Wyatt Eichhorst, Dalton Grisell, Austin Ball, Joey Petrali and Cole Melhuse were instrumental in keeping Sparks from even approaching the endzone during the contest.
The Tiger offense was led by tailback Sullivan Cauley's three touchdowns, while fullback Tyler Seamons added a touchdown run and kicker Taylen Lopez-Simms converted a two-point kick attempt after the third touchdown.
The offensive line led the way, including Ryan Philips, Joe Almeida, Austin Dickey, Ben Cochran, Ian Pieler, Connor Miller, Kyle McDaniel, Justin Carney, Mitchell Mc Intosh, Joe Curcio, Colton Waggoner, and Dylan Waldrep.
The Pee Wee Tigers take on the Fallon Greenwave today at 6 p.m. at Stodick Park.
