Girls' Soccer: Tigers pick up win at North Valleys

Ally Freitas scored two goals to lead the Lady Tigers to a 6-1 win over North Valleys Saturday.


After Douglas fell back on a goal in the 10th minute from North Valleys, the Tigers rattled off six consecutive goals to take the win.


Alexandra Laing opened the scoring with an assist from Dany Heidt in the 18th minute, tying the score at 1 for the remainder of the half.


Eight minutes into the second, Freitas scored her first and followed with her second just three minutes later.


Nicole Didero scored on an assist from C.J. Baumgartner, Sarah Hartley scored her third goal of the season and Baumgartner wrapped up with scoring in the 64th minute, getting an assist from Didero.


Douglas improved to 12-5-1 overall and 9-3-1 in league play with the win.
