It's time to sign up to furnish decorated Christmas trees for Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center's 11th annual Gallery of Trees.
Individuals and community groups are encouraged to adopt a theme for a Christmas tree and the display area under it. The public votes for favorite trees while they are on display in the museum Dec. 2-29.
-- Entries must be received by 4 p.m. Nov. 17. There is no entry fee.
-- Trees must be artificial - no smaller than 4 feet and no taller than 8 feet.
-- Mini-lights must be used. No glitter and no fake snow.
-- Entrants must provide decorations, lights and extension cords.
-- Ornaments may not be sold while trees are on display.
-- Trees must be set up 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 26 or Nov. 30 and be removed by Jan. 3.
