The Coleville Wolves volleyball team picked up three wins last week to claim its fourth-consecutive Western 1A title.

On Tuesday Coleville faced rival Smith Valley. Coleville easily beat Smith Valley 25-10, 25-13, & 25-11. Amara Rowley lead the Lady Wolves with 12 aces, 5 kills, and 20 assists. Kymberlee Curti had 12 kills, 2 aces and 1 dig. Skyler Isbell had 7 kills and 3 blocks. Kim Torley had 3 kills and 1 block. Devin Nolan had 2 kills and 2 blocks. Tawny Booher had 2 aces and 1 dig, and Kassie Pemberton had 1 ace and 8 assists.

On Thursday the Lady Wolves hosted the Lady Scorpions of Sage Ridge for the league title.

In the first match both teams played hard, but Coleville won the match 25-21, and 25-20. This was Coleville's first league match that they had to work for every point.

Curti lead the Wolves in this match with 8 kills, 2 blocks, and 1 ace. Rowley had 2 kills, 2 blocks, 2 aces, and 9 assists. Torley had 2 aces, 1 kill, and 1 bock. Isbell had 1 kill and 1 block, and Nolan had 2 kills.

In the second match Coleville started out by losing the first game 21-25, and the second game was do or die. Coleville started out down in the second game, but Curti's serving brought them up to even, and that seemed to fire up the rest of the team. Coleville won the second game 25-20, and they never looked back in the third game winning 15-9. Curti again lead the point board with 9 kills and 2 aces, and 1 dig. Isbell was a close second with 10 kills. Rowley had 2 kills, 1 ace and 13 assist. Torley had 2 aces and 1 kill. Nolan had 1 kill and 1 block. Booher had 4 digs, and Pemberton had 7 assist with 1 kill.

The win brought Coleville's league record to 16-0, running the Wolves' streak to 51 consecutive wins in league play.

The Lady Wolves next face Eureka at 6 p.m. in the first round of the Northern 1A Regional Playoffs Friday at North Valleys High School in Reno.
