Peterson, Cruz lead Douglas JV football past Greenwave

Lucas Peterson ran for two touchdowns and three two more, while Jordan Cruz rushed for 215 yards, two touchdowns and caught one pass for yet another touchdown to lead the way as the Douglas High JV football team rolled to a 42-6 victory against Fallon on Thursday.

"The kids played hard and came up with a good home victory," Douglas coach Brent Eddy said. "We owe a lot of credit to the work of our offensive line, as we were able to rack up over 310 Yards on the ground."

Cody Spates also rushed for 95 yards on 10 carries. And Danny King had one reception for a 30-yard touchdown.
