Petrosky crowned Genoa Lakes ladies champion

Janet Petrosky was crowned the Genoa Lakes Ladies Golf Club's 2007 club champion following a two-day gross score tournament.


Petrosky shot 80 each day for a total score of 160, besting runner-up Gail Teig (165). She has previously reigned as club champion at Genoa Lakes in 2001, and previously won a club championship when she lived in The Woodlands, Texas. In 2006, Petrosky was the Nevada State Women's Golf Association senior division low gross champion.


First-flight honors in the club's annual championship tournament went to Diane Parisien (179) and Paige Spires (182). Second-flight winners were Debrine Smedley (183) and Flavia Anger (195). Third-flight winners were Louise Bell (205) and Wendy Oleson (212).
