The Douglas High tennis teams kept plugging along Tuesday afternoon against North Tahoe.
The Tiger boys, hosting North Tahoe, improved to 4-3 overall on the year and 4-1 in league play with a 15-3 win over the Lakers.
The girls took a 14-4 victory at the lake to improve to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in league play.
Freshman Amelia Ritger improved to 17-0 on the year with wins of 6-2, 6-0 and 6-0 and the Tigers' No. 1 doubles team of Sarah Barnhill and Lauren Seymour improved to 16-1 with three wins of their own.
Coach Roger Rusmisel noted the play of Kaitlyn Boddy and Jenna Dykes as the duo pulled out a first-round victory the put Douglas up 4-2 early instead of a 3-3 tie.
Sam Barns took two wins and Cesarina Ceglia and Alyssa Cofano each had one.
Madison VanderByl and Jackie Sunderland won two of three and Linsey Glass and Marissa Delgadillo had a win as well.
For the boys, the top singles tandem of Keegan Chipp and Robert Shawhan posted six wins with Shawhan sweeping through his sets without losing a single game.
Chipp improved to 19-1 overall on the year and Shawhan improved to 18-2.
Andrew Soloman went 2-1 for the Tigers to complete the singles scoring.
Marshall Jessup and Tim Doran swept through their doubles matches, as did Spike Neri and John McLaughlin, while Aaron Wennhold and Alex Sunderland picked up a 6-0 win over Tahoe's Daniel Longo and Cory Hackbarth.
