The Corley Ranch Farmers Market is noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at 859 Highway 395, Gardnerville, one mile south of Pinenut Road.

All fruits and vegetables are grown without pesticides at Corley Ranch. There is a variety of summer and winter squash, peppers including jalapeños, tomatoes, field corn, watermelons and other vegetables for sale.

The farmers market store is open weekends in October from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the Harvest Festival Extraordinary when more than 15,000 pumpkins of various sizes and colors will be available.

October activities at the ranch include a two-acre corn maze, live pig races, a straw bale maze for little folks, a bouncy house, panning for gold, petting zoo, miniature horse rides, horse drawn hay rides, vendors, live entertainment and refreshments.

On Saturday nights, beginning at 7 p.m., bring a flashlight for the night crawler maze adventure or haunted hay ride. Prizes, drinks and snacks are included with admission price.

Groups may rent the night maze for personal group outings on week nights. On weekdays, the Corley Ranch offers educational programs for public and private schools.
