Volleyball: Coleville goes 2-1 on the week

Coleville went 2-1 on the week, sweeping Sierra Lutheran Tuesday, losing to four-time 2A state champion Whittell Thursday and beating McDermitt Saturday.


Cameo Lommori had some hard drives and several nice digs for Sierra Lutheran.


Coleville's top producers against the Falcons were Kymberlee Curti (10 kills, 3 aces, 2 digs), Skyler Isbel (9 kills), Tawny Booher (7 aces, 1 kill, 3 digs) and Amara Rowley (5 kills, 2 aces, 17 assists).


Against Whittell, Isbell executed two perfect blocks against Whittell's Jordan Reeder and Curti spiked through double blocks to the left several times.


Curti led the Wolves with six kills, two blocks, two aces and one dig.


Rowley had three kills, three aces, three digs and five assists.


Kassie Pemberton had 10 assists and three aces and Booher had five digs and an ace. Kim Torley had three kills as well.


Against McDermitt, Devin Nolan had three blocks and two kills in her first match of the season.


Curti had six kills, six aces and a dig, Rowley had five kills, two aces and 11 assists and Pemberton had nine assists and two aces.


Isbell had two blocks, two kills and three aces and Torley had four kills and an ace. Molly Garcia had four kills and an assist.


Coleville is now at 11-4 overall on the year.
