On Thursday, the Douglas High junior varsity softball team beat Reno 27-0 with a combined no hitter being thrown by Megan Michitarian and Rachel Davis.
It was the start of a three-game sweep for the Tigers as Douglas picked up 6-4 and 10-0 wins over the Huskies in a doubleheader Saturday.
In Thursday's game, Michitarian had eight strikeouts in the effort. She also went 6-for-6 with six RBIs and a home run.
Erika Evans had three hits with a double. Davis, Brenna White, Shay Swails and Sophie Wilson each contributed two hits.
Naomi Roberts. Kendra Blum, Erin Allison. Cassidy Curtis and Bodean Callahan each contributed a hit.
Michitarian had a pair of strong pitching performances in Saturday's games.
In the first game she struck out 13 while scattering five hits and in the second she had six strikeouts in a two-hitter.
Douglas was down 4-0 early on in the first game, but came back in the fifth on a rally ignited by a Callahan single.
Douglas went on to score three in the inning and then scored another three in the sixth inning, headed by the hitting and strong base running of Ali Murray.
The inning was started by a single by Blum who was then driven in by single by Murray.
Murray then stole second and third on consecutive pitches, finally going home on a Reno error for the go-ahead run.
Murray and White each had two hits followed by Roberts, Blum, Callahan and Nicky Chavez each contributing one. White, Roberts and Chavez had doubles.
The second game saw Douglas taking early control of the game in the second inning, scoring seven runs and never looking back.
Roberts and Chavez had two hits each and Chavez had a homerun.
White, Michitarian, Allison and Curtis each contributed a hit. Chavez and Michitarian had two RBIs a piece.
