Douglas sophomore Hailey VanSchottenstein and senior Marco Hyman were consistent, to say the least, at the Zephyr League Aqua 5 at the Carson Valley Swim Center Saturday.
Both swimmers placed in the turned in a number of top-three finishes at the uniquely-formatted meet, which pits every swimmer in the Northern 4A Zephyr League in five individual races.
VonSchottenstein took third in the 100 free (58.70), second in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.06), third in the 100 fly (1:07.91) and second in the 50 free (26.32).
Lowry's Madison Gray won every event on the girls' side.
On the boys' side, Hyman took third in the 100 free (54.0), second in the 100 back (1:02.12) and second in the 100 fly (1:01.16).
Manogue's Chris Bedell won every event on the boys' side.
Douglas' Eddie Kollar won the 1-meter boys' diving competition while Ryan Dykes took third. Samantha Phillips took third on the girls' side for Douglas.
