Arraignment was continued to April 28 for a 25-year-old South Lake Tahoe man accused of dumping a cat litter box on a woman and threatening to kill her.

Lawyer William Cole said negotiations were ongoing between his client, Jonathan Vildosola, and the district attorney's office.

Vildosola was charged with aggravated stalking and burglary in the Jan. 28 incident.

He is accused of threatening to kill the victim, entering her Market Street apartment without permission, destroying property, battering her and a friend, restraining her, preventing her from calling 911, verbally berating her, and dumping water, cat feces and kitty litter on her head.

Deputies were called to the victim's residence at 3:30 a.m. Jan. 28 by witnesses who heard breaking glass and screaming.

Officers said Vildosola was standing in front of the apartment kicking the front door and reaching in through a broken kitchen window. His hands were covered with blood.

The victim said she and Vildosola married in July 2007 but never lived together.

On Jan. 22, she alleged the suspect followed her to a South Lake Tahoe bar where she was with friends. She said he tried several times to kiss and grab her but she spurned his advances.

The woman said she left, but Vildosola followed her home and entered the apartment without permission.

She said he tried to fight her male roommate and punched him in the eye, slapped her, forced her against a bedroom wall, threw her on the bed and pinned her down, calling her names before he left.

On Jan. 28, he broke the kitchen window from the outside before she let him in.

He grabbed her by the arms and slammed her against the bathroom wall. He picked up the cat litter box and dumped feces on her head, according to the victim.
