There's the potential for snow above 5,000 feet on Tuesday night, according to a National Weather Service special statement issued this morning. A low pressure system off the Washington coast is predicted to start moving south today and should hit the northern Sierra on Tuesday. Forecasters aren't sure how much moisture is in the system or weather the system will even come this far south, but its cold front will arrive Tuesday night. There will be wind.

Up for sentencing is Douglas County District Court this morning is Caleb Fry, 20, who faces up to 15 years in prison after he was arrested for selling 500 hits of Ecstasy at a Stateline casino back in September. If he testifies against his partner, he could get probation.

Brian W. Langdon is back on the court calendar for sentencing. Langdon, 21, is the Lake Tahoe man who allegedly bit deputies during a drug-induced naked. He was arrested a year ago after he was discovered standing naked in a next-door neighbors' Round Hill home.
